What To Do In Fenway This Week (12/21-12/28)

December brings with it many things: shorter days, colder nights, and all kinds of unpleasant weather. However, this month is an excellent time to explore all that the Fenway has to offer. The holiday season inspires a myriad of exceptional arts and cultural activities that are perfect for all ages, whether you are from Boston or just visiting! Corelli’s popular Christmas Concerto is one of many highlights in a creative program also featuring J.S. Bach’s joyous Cantata 40 and Cantata IV from the Christmas Oratorio. Currently on view is Transcending Boundaries, an exhibition presented in collaboration with Artists for Humanity, as well as a collection of photographs and documents that provide a glimpse into life in mid-nineteenth-century America. While a the library, join in an ongoing program-Handmade for the Homeless—visitors are invited to make items (hats, scarves, blankets, mittens, etc) for the less fortunate.
