Taylor Mortell, Assistant Director
Taylor Mortell is a Community Artist and Arts Advocate based out of Boston, MA. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Boston University, Magna Cum Laude. Through her work in and outside of the studio, Taylor is interested in exploring the impact making can have on people in healthcare and community settings.
She is best known for her TEDx Talk, “The Art of Taking Action.” Her work has been recognized on Capitol Hill and been featured in numerous publications including NPR, The Boston Globe, Esprit, and Boston Magazine.
Before joining the Fenway Alliance, Taylor worked on a variety of programs at the Cambridge Arts Council, The Boston University School of Visual Arts, and served as the first Visual Artist-in-Residence at Boston Medical Center.
