Northeastern: New Arts Administration Graduate Program

As part of ArtWeek Boston, Northeastern launches a new Arts Administration graduate program with a public art tour led by Bree Edwards, Director of the Northeastern Center for the Arts.
 When: Wednesday, May 4, 12-2PM
Tour will kick off at noon in front of the Ruggles MBTA station on the Huntington Ave side. Street location: 150 Forsyth St, Boston, MA 02115 and will conclude with a lunch reception.
Launched in 2014, the Northeastern Public Art Initiative creates a stronger sense of place on Northeastern’s dense, urban canvas. Supported by President Joseph E. Aoun’s mandate to turn the “campus into a canvas.” This initiative has commissioned several large-scale public artworks from international and Boston-based artists, as well as Northeastern faculty and students. The Public Art Initiative is a public statement that Northeastern is an incubator of new ideas and creativity.
