Organized by Lisa Tung, Director of the Bakalar & Paine Galleries, in partnership with Arne Glimcher ’60 and Pace Gallery, this exhibition brings together the work of 8 contemporary Chinese artists who were shaped by the Cultural Revolution: Hai Bo, Song Dong, Zhang Huan, Liu Jianhua, Fred Han Chang Liang, Ma Qiusha, Li Songsong, and Zhang Xiaogang.

The perennial exhibition, Selections, showcases the current work of faculty who are newly hired or returning from sabbatical. Everybody, Everything: Photographs by Andy Warhol 12:00pm-6:00pm, 621 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02115
From 1958 until his death in 1987, Andy Warhol chronicled his daily life, the people who surrounded him, and his diverse interests by taking thousands of photographs. This exhibition of Polaroid and black-and-white images offers a glimpse into Warhol’s obsessions and the fascinating world he built for himself in New York.

Inspired by Mary Baker Eddy’s appreciation of great thinkers and in partnership with the Boston Society of Architects Foundation, visitors can participate in Box City, a hands-on interactive learning project to redesign the Fenway Cultural District’s beloved Massachusetts Avenue. Keying off of ongoing construction at the Christian Science Plaza and throughout Boston, the Library invites visitors to create their own small-scale buildings from donated materials, including shoe boxes, milk cartons, cardboard tubes, and fabric.

The Mapparium’s three-dimensional perspective of the world of 1935 is enhanced by A World of Ideas, an original presentation that features a rich orchestration of words, music, and LED lights to illustrate how ideas have traversed time and geography and changed the world. The Library is also showing a complementary exhibit, “The Mapparium: An Inside View,” featuring letters, documents, and artifacts never before made public.

For generations Americans have been fascinated with the American West. Depictions of the western landscape flooded New England in the mid-19th century, spurring a stream of western tourism. As part of the Opening Our Doors Gallery Walk, Yankees in the West will draw from the Society’s collections of letters, diaries, photographs, drawings, and artifacts to explore the ways New Englanders experienced the trans-Mississippi west in the late-19th and early-20th centuries.

Parkway Stop***POSTPONED TO LATER DATE, TBD Green Links Walking Tours The City of Boston in partnership with LivableStreets Alliance and the Emerald Necklace Conservancy is organizing a discussion on Parker Street about the proposed Roxbury to Fenway connector with residents and visitors. There will be a guided walk/bike ride, Q&A about the project, and information about the city's Greenlinks program and the Emerald Network. The Roxbury to Fenway Connector is a proposed 1/4 mile family-friendly bicycle and pedestrian connection between two of Boston's most iconic greenways - the Southwest Corridor in Roxbury and the Emerald Necklace in the Fenway. The connection is a missing "Green Link" in the regional network of greenways called the Emerald Network.
